We built Captik because we got tired of manually fixing captions after every upload. Tools like Whisper and Google STT are excellent for what they do — but Hinglish code-switching isn't something you can retrofit onto an English-first model.

Captik runs on Bhashini — India's national AI language platform built by MeitY and IIT Madras. It's the only ASR pipeline trained specifically on Indian languages and accents at scale. We put it behind a simple interface: upload your video, get your SRT.
