  • Every plan, Free included, now has every feature: 4K, camera tracking, SRT, AI Edits, your own fonts and the plugins. Plans differ only in caption minutes, export minutes and the watermark.
  • Starter is ₹349, Editor ₹699 and Pro ₹1,499 a month, and the week is ₹99. Every plan can be paid once, with nothing renewing.
  • Removing the watermark from a single video is now ₹20 a video, as many times as you like. It replaces the ₹9 first export.
Cut the pausesReleasedOctober 2026
  • A new Pauses control on the timeline takes the dead air out of your video. Natural keeps your rhythm, Tight also cuts every bare um, in English and Hindi.
  • Words that carry meaning stay, a breath is kept on each side of every cut, and Keep pauses brings everything back.
  • The cut parts are shaded on the timeline and skipped as the preview plays, and your captions, sounds, music and AI Edits all follow the shorter video.
AI Edits: music, sound and camera movesReleasedOctober 2026
  • AI Edits now play a music bed under your talk, matched to the look you pick, that drops well under your voice whenever you speak. Set its level or turn it off in Sounds.
  • The camera cuts between a wide and a close framing on your sentences, pushes in on your key words, and lands your biggest number with a hit.
  • Every cut to a new scene gets its own sound, the hook lands with a whoosh, and sounds stay spaced out so the edit never feels noisy.
  • Full page scenes keep moving while they hold, a thin progress bar shows viewers how short the video is, and your captions stay clear of the app buttons on Reels and Shorts.
  • When you ask viewers to follow, comment or save, your words appear as a card at the end of the video.
Steadier tracking for Spatial and AI EditsReleasedOctober 2026
  • Spatial looks follow a moving camera far more closely: shaky handheld shots, fast pans and slow zooms keep their words on the room.
  • Captik now finds you in every frame it tracks, so your own movements no longer pull the words around.
  • AI Edits stay on the room too: when the camera moves, their scenes move with it.
  • A shot that cannot be tracked keeps its words and scenes steady instead of guessing.

  • Every AI Edit now opens on a hook title from the very first frame, in the look of the edit you picked, so viewers know at once why to stay.
  • The hook title is written by AI from your opening lines, in your own language and script, using only what you actually say.
  • The picture never sits still for long: quick zooms land on your key words, and a slow push keeps the plain moments moving.
  • Scenes change every few seconds instead of holding one look, lists and figures get their full page graphics, and your face stays on screen most of the time.

  • AI Edits now plan your edit in an instant, on our own servers.
  • They find the lists, comparisons and figures you say, in English, Hinglish and every Indian language Captik transcribes, and show figures the way you would write them: 99%, ₹10,000, 14 hours.
  • B-roll follows the phrases and places you name, like street food, lifting weights or Marine Drive, and stays off your call to action.
  • The title of each edit comes from the strongest words of your opening line.
B-roll in AI EditsReleasedOctober 2026
  • AI Edits now add b-roll: stock clips of the things you talk about land on the word, full screen, beside you, in a small window or behind you.
  • Photo scenes play real video clips, and some scenes put a clip behind you or pin it on as a sticker.
  • A soft whoosh plays as a clip comes in, and the editor credits every clip and photo to its creator on Pexels.
  • Every AI edit now plays its own preview in the Templates panel, so you can see a look before you pick it.
  • Cut out photo scenes keep their picture for the whole scene.
  • Long videos are read in parts, so the b-roll and the scenes run to the end of a ten minute talk.

AI Edits fill the whole frame on 16:9ReleasedOctober 2026
  • On a wide video every AI edit scene now uses the whole frame: backgrounds, shades, borders and paper reach the edges, with no 9:16 strip left in the middle.
  • Pages lay out for the wide frame: two pictures, or a picture and its words, now sit side by side, and a single page grows to fill the screen.
  • Framed photos, full page prints and side by side splits take the full width, and pictures found for a wide video are wide ones.
  • Paper, kraft, denim and chalk textures keep their grain on wide frames instead of stretching.
AI Edits on every video shape, and two new onesReleasedOctober 2026
  • AI Edits now work in every shape: 9:16, 16:9, 1:1 and 4:5. On a wider frame the scenes stand beside you, and pages, bands and full photos reach the whole frame.
  • Cutline: on the big lines you become a cut out on green graph paper, moving in stop motion with a yellow sticker edge.
  • Encore: painted backdrops land behind you on the big words, with lively drawings around you and captions scattered across the frame.
  • Card scenes now frame you properly, and your head can break out of the top of the card.
  • Bobblehead scenes cut a sticker of your head with a microphone, and chalk titles take the style you give a word.
  • Paper, kraft and denim boards look truer, and cards on tight close ups no longer cover your face.
AI Edits, and words that move with the cameraReleasedOctober 2026
  • AI Edits: 34 new templates in their own section. Each one reads your words, splits the video into parts, and gives every part its own scene: cards that land on the word, counts that roll, lists that tick, pages, photo frames and titles around the speaker.
  • Every AI edit picks a scene to suit what is said: a number gets a counter, a list gets its points, a contrast gets two sides. Photos are found for the things you mention, and the cards land with their own sounds.
  • The speaker is cut out for the whole edit, so scenes sit behind you, and some templates draw a sticker edge or a chalk outline around you.
  • Around you: words now follow a moving camera, can be pinned to a wall you mark, and on Pro the camera itself is tracked in 3D so words stay put in the room.
  • AI Edits export on Pro. Try every one of them in the editor first.
Your own subtitles, shadows, and a wider timelineReleasedOctober 2026
  • Import SRT: bring your own .srt or .vtt, on the upload screen or inside the editor. Your captions stay as you wrote them, and each word is timed to the voice.
  • Not happy with a transcription? On paid plans, Regenerate with Sarvam in the captions panel: Sarvam transcribes the video again and writes the transliteration too. Your captions stay until the new ones are ready, and Undo brings them back.
  • Shadow, in its own section of the Text tab: presets, up to five shadows with distance, direction and blur, a 3D long shadow, and Off to remove any shadow at all.
  • Text: weight and italic in one click, a thicker outline drawn outside or on the letters, the caption width as a slider, and opacity and tilt beside them.
  • The timeline now runs across the whole bottom of the editor for every video shape, vertical included.
  • Captions in the preview light up with the voice, not a beat after it, and Hinglish always goes to our own model.
The new site, and the editor at your sizeReleasedOctober 2026
  • A new home page: a presenter talks and the key word of each line stands behind their head, live in your browser. Point at a template name and the same take changes its look without a cut. Built for phones first.
  • The editor: drag any panel edge to size it, a preview no longer capped at 640 px, and every template playing in the Templates panel.
  • Select a caption anywhere, in the list, on the timeline or on the video, and every control on the right edits just that caption: template, colours, position, words per line. Done brings you back to the whole video.
  • Behind templates: the cutout is made in the cloud the moment you pick one, the big word stays readable behind the head, and small words stay in front of the speaker.
  • Every template checked against its reference: emphasis works on every one, Size shrinks every line, and a Customize tab tunes motion, the spoken word, finish, layout and colours.
  • Sound effects: a sound lane on the timeline, sounds on a word, automatic sounds that land on the moment, mixed into every export.
  • A big upload is no longer mistaken for a stalled export.
Our own speech and render serversReleasedSeptember 2026
  • Transcription and word timing now run on our own servers, with Roman captions from a model trained on Hinglish and Indic speech. Roman spellings follow how people actually type.
  • Exports render on our own servers and match the preview pixel for pixel: line height, canvas width, uploaded fonts, blends and glows. Every edit is carried, and the download link lasts 24 hours.
  • Exports never fail: audio only sources, undecodable tracks and a failed server all take a second route. Queued exports show their place and the estimated wait instead of a frozen bar.
  • Captions with unverified timing are marked amber and say why; Realign resyncs them to the audio without using transcription minutes.
  • Plugin 1.6.18 for Premiere Pro and After Effects, Windows and macOS: long sequences finish, SRT captions land as a Premiere caption track, SRT on every paid plan, batched After Effects inserts.
  • DaVinci Resolve 1.0.4: Journal and Interlock as native, editable Text+ captions, and long timelines transcribe.
  • New templates: Journal, handwritten, and Interlock, set in the space around the speaker.
  • Free exports carry the Captik mark across the frame; the ₹9 first export and the week pass remove it.

  • Plugin 1.6.12 to 1.6.14: the free edition of DaVinci Resolve and Macs get captions through a script that opens the panel in your browser; the new templates work in every editor; burned in captions can use your own fonts; transparent overlays carry real alpha; Indic scripts render on your PC.
  • Resolve 1.0.2: captions take their style as their comps appear.
  • New templates: Scribble and Archives, handwritten, and Blockbuster, two voices in one caption.
  • Email and password accounts can change and recover their password.
