Captik, in plain facts.

What it is
- Captik is an AI caption and reel editor built in India. You drop in a video, it writes captions timed to every word, and you fix what you want and export.
- It runs in the browser on a phone or a laptop, with nothing to install. There is no app in the App Store or Google Play yet.
- There are also plugins for Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
Languages
- It captions speech in Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and English, or detects which one you are speaking.
- Hinglish works: Hindi and English mixed in one sentence. Captions can come out in the language's own script, in English letters, or translated into English.
- The plugins cover all of these except Odia, which needs the web editor for now.
- Any other spoken language is not supported yet. That includes Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Arabic, Indonesian and Turkish. Tell us which one you need.
Captions
- Every word is timed to the audio, and word by word animation is built in.
- Any word can be retyped, retimed, recoloured or made bigger. Lines can be split or joined.
- There are 106 caption templates, and you can upload your own font.
- We do not publish an accuracy percentage, because we have not yet published a test you can check for yourself.
Editing and export
- It can cut the pauses, and add zooms, sounds and b roll.
- It exports MP4 in 9:16, 16:9, 1:1 or 4:5, in 1080p or 4K, and the captions as an SRT file. Every plan can do all of it.
Prices
Rupees in India, US dollars everywhere else, with local tax added at checkout abroad. Every plan has every feature; plans differ in minutes. The pricing page is always current.

It is spelled C, A, P, T, I, K. Apps with similar names are separate products with no link to Captik.
