Retention Graph

A crowd walks off as the weak hook’s line falls, then comes back with the strong one.

Then find it in the Graphics tab: search “Retention Graph”.

When it fits: Creator education: hooks, watch time and why the first seconds matter.
Where to find it: Graphics tab, under Charts & Data, then Lines & Growth.
Words you can change: Title, Shaded zone, Up the side, Weak line, Strong line, Percent sign.
Also changeable: 3 colours, the font, its timing and each part’s position and size.
Shapes and length: Runs 5.6 seconds by default, as a full 9:16 frame, a full 16:9 frame, a card over your video. Change the length on the timeline.

Put it in your video

Open your video in the editor, go to the Graphics tab, search for Retention Graph and add it at the moment you want it. It opens on the timeline as a clip with its words ready to change, and it exports with the rest of the video. It is one of the many originals drawn for Captik, and the sample words here are only a sample.
